Thelma successfully created and sold a Software as a Service company in the Affordable Housing arena. Recently, she took a Hardware tech company from losing $500,000 per year to revenues of $2,200,000 by identifying and solving issues with the product and its manufacturing procedures.
As the innovation manager for the State of Hawaii’s incubator programs, she oversaw programs that mentored, guided, and supported innovative entrepreneurs to foster the creation of capital efficient, sustainable, high-growth businesses.
Chaired the Hawaii Annual Code Challenge a 4 week hackathon designed to engage the community in creating sustainable government while expanding tech-based economic development and the tech-based workforce.
